(the following was an article I wrote about my sister….)
Ever since Anna was a little girl, she loved all kinds of purses. Purses combined flair combined with the organization. Over the years, many purses have come and gone from her life; they all have become a part of her. She cannot part with a purse without giving it to another person that she thinks will enjoy it. This kind of attachment begs the question of how and where to buy the perfect purse.
She answered this quandary when she was in the car with her son. He mentioned that she has had this recent purse for a long time. Anna has bought a little more expensive purses (around $150) lately and she keeps them longer than I used to. As they talked about this, she told him a purse is one of the most used items in her wardrobe. Most of us wouldn’t hesitate to spend $100 on a dress, but get a little squeamish about spending the same amount on a purse. But how often do you wear that dress? How often do you use your purse? Most people have one main purse (as do I, but I trade out if I need a different purse for a certain occasion). That means they use it every single day, multiple times actually. Therefore, investing in a purse that won’t fall apart is a very good idea.
Personally, I always have around 6 go-to purses: one black, one brown, one that is fun, 2 different ones for travel (small and large), and a crossbody for outings with my kids. Truly sometime in my life, I would love to design purses. But for now I will collect all my favorites on my Pinterest board! click here to see it– https://www.pinterest.com/annacr/purses-and-wallets/
