First, the cupcakes. This particular birthday boy loves chocolate. Since I am not much of a cook, I simply bought some from the grocery store and gussied it up with some greens and a fun candle. Dragon Vale is an island full of bright colors. For added height, I stuck them on a cake stand.
Dragons in Dragon Vale eat fruit so that was easy.
And then we have dragon claws, poop and horns. I got all the colored containers at the dollar store and added my own glass stuff.
The game was simple. I filled up water balloons and let my kids decorate some with permanent markers. They were our dragon eggs. Then set up a series of hula hoops (dragon nests). If the child could toss his (I will use the masculine version because it was my son’s birthday) egg inside the nest, he got to go on to the next level of nest. If he didn’t, the child simply went to the back of the line to try again. The children all loved this game. It was fun without being discouraging. If they made it to the top level then they got to keep their egg as a prize.
Thats it! We had a party! I hope this helps you!
